Free Commercial Planning Tool
Price Change Scenario Planner
Compare two user-entered net-revenue and volume scenarios for one SKU and one defined period. This is transparent scenario arithmetic—not a demand forecast, price recommendation, or financial decision.
Compare entered commercial scenarios
Use one consistent period, channel, net-revenue treatment, unit basis, and direct-variable-cost assumption.
Scenario inputs
Your entered realized net revenue per unit for the baseline period.
An entered scenario—not a recommended price.
Baseline units for the period you define.
Your entered change assumption. It is not an elasticity estimate or forecast.
Use one direct-cost basis consistently in both scenarios.
Planning outputs
Enter valid scenario inputs to compare the two sets of assumptions.
Relationship between the two revenue assumptions you entered.
Baseline units adjusted by your unit-change assumption.
Scenario annual net revenue less baseline annual net revenue.
Scenario contribution less baseline contribution using your entered direct variable cost.
What this scenario does—and does not—show
This browser-local planner compares the assumptions you enter for one SKU and defined period. It does not estimate price elasticity, forecast sales, assess competitive response, recommend a selling, retail, or wholesale price, calculate complete margin or profitability, validate agreements or deductions, interpret contracts or tax, or guarantee a financial result. Define the period, channel, net-revenue treatment, unit basis, and direct-variable-cost assumptions consistently before relying on a scenario.
Formula
Formula ID: PRICE-CHANGE-SCENARIO-V1
Price change % = (proposed net revenue − current net revenue) ÷ current net revenue × 100
Scenario units = current annual units × (1 + scenario unit-change assumption ÷ 100)
Contribution = (net revenue per unit − direct variable cost per unit) × annual units
