SKU Direct Cost Stack Planner

Use one consistent SKU, pack, unit, currency, and period basis to assemble a direct product-cost assumption set from your own inputs.

Review one defined scenario

Keep every input on the same SKU, period, channel, pack, and unit basis described below.

Scenario inputs

Entered inbound product or material freight amount on the same basis. Unit: $ per unit.

Entered other direct SKU cost amount on the same basis. Unit: $ per unit.

Formula

Formula ID: SKU-DIRECT-COST-STACK-V1

Group ingredients and packaging, group conversion, inbound freight, and other cost, sum the direct SKU cost stack, then multiply the stack by entered planned units.

  1. Add ingredients and packaging.
  2. Add conversion, inbound freight, and other direct product cost.
  3. Sum both groups into the direct SKU cost stack.
  4. Multiply the stack by planned saleable units.
  5. Divide packaging by the positive stack for packaging share.

What this page does—and does not—show

This browser-local planner calculates only the direct product-side cost components entered for one defined SKU scenario; it does not establish complete COGS, price, margin, profitability, supplier, production, or portfolio results.

This page owns product-side direct cost stacking; co-packer run costs, channel contribution, price changes, and break-even remain separate owner jobs.

Evidence and review boundary

Tier C. This browser-local planner calculates only the direct product-side cost components entered for one defined SKU scenario; it does not establish complete COGS, price, margin, profitability, supplier, production, or portfolio results.

Internal operator review

No external rate or rule is embedded; values and assumptions come from the user.
